So... I have good news. I think. I received a call 2 days ago from my case worker. She had received a call from a DFS worker that we were working with about 10 months ago regarding a little girl (Miss Adorable) that I had met at a match party. Unfortunately it did not work out at that time due to bios coming into the picture. However, the bios were unable to commit to the case plan & now adoption is the route they are on again. The DFS worker wanted to know if I was still interested. I said, "Absolutely!". I could not let go of this little girl. I felt like she was already my baby. I was heartbroken when it didn't work out. So now I wait in hopes that I am not disappointed. My caseworker is going to let DFS know that I am interested & get back to me. Now I am going to be on pins & needles until I hear something. I almost forgot what it felt like to play the waiting game. Pray for us!
