One More Time

I am ready to begin the process of adopting another child! I love my little guy & he really wants a brudder & sister. I told him he could only have one or the other, not both...lol. He looked at me with a smile & said "Mommy I have to have both!" I know his story will change once his little brudder/sister gets here. He is used to other kids being around because of my many nephews, neices & cousins. But he has no idea what he is in for once that brudder/sister lives with us and plays with his toys & messes up his stuff! Anyway, he is a great little helper & he will be a wonderful big brudder. So in an effort to begin this process, I attended an information meeting at an adoption agency in my area. That agency has fees that are upward $30k. I was dumbfounded. I thought that it would be around $16-20K. I was so disappointed. I am not going to let this count me out though. So, it looks like I may have to go back to the foster care system or fundraise. I didn't have any problems with adopting from foster care, but I just want to adopt an infant this time for the experience & so that my son is the "big brudder" that he wants to be. I will be fundraising for a long long long time until this happens for us.
